Welcome Fundraising Campaign Coordinator!
The information below was put together to make your fundraising campaign successful and your coordinator experience easy and enjoyable.
What You Need to Know to Guarantee Your Campaign Success:
Scheduling
- When you schedule your campaign, start from the end! Pick your distribution date and time while considering a convenient date for supporters to pick up. Product delivery will be coordinated for the same date if possible. Schedule the end of the campaign for two weeks prior to the delivery date and the beginning of the campaign for at least two weeks prior to the end date.
- It is recommended to run a fundraiser for a little over two weeks. Launch it just before a weekend with a Monday deadline, so the fundraiser is open for three weekends, giving busy supporters enough time to participate.
- We require two weeks for production and shipping of your order, so make sure to allow for two weeks between the end date of the campaign and the delivery date. If you require less time, please contact us.
- Pre-schedule campaign promotion and reminders for your community. SimpleFundraise will send you sales reports so you can track your progress and act to encourage your community’s participation.
Products and Prices
You are in charge - pick products and prices to suit your fundraising goal and community needs!
- Products are offered in several popular categories: Kool for School, Pantry Favorites, Indulge Your Senses, Ready-to-Bake, and more. You select the categories and the products.
- Products are shipped frozen. All the products in our Pantry Favorite category are shelf stable.
- Prices are set for a default of 20-30% margin, but you can change the price of each product to what works best for your campaign and community.
Marketing
- Put up the SimpleFundraise poster in a central high-traffic location.
- After your campaign is set up, email the Shared Link to your community members. When they log in to support your campaign, they will see the introduction you created during setup.
- Use your link to promote your campaign and send reminders through your newsletter, website, and social media channels.
- Consider advertising in local media (community papers and radio stations) and posting on community bulletin boards.
- Engage your fundraising team or members of your organization (student champions, older grades, club members, etc.) in marketing efforts to help share and promote the campaign.
- Run a friendly competition between individuals, teams, or classes, offering a prize to top contributors.
- An Order Confirmation email will be sent out automatically when an order is placed. A Thank You email will be sent out once orders are marked as picked up.
Payment
- There is no payment required by your organization at any time during your campaign.
- Your supporters will pay online after selecting their products.
- Your organization will be paid by cheque 30 days after your campaign has ended and all products have been delivered. The amount will be based on the profit margins you set.
Delivery and Distribution
- Your campaign will end automatically on the set end date. No need to tally and submit orders - they are already received and being prepared for shipping.
- Only a few volunteers are needed to help hand out orders.
- Sort the orders by products so volunteers can distribute them easily.
- Check off orders online as they are handed out. Once orders are marked as picked up, SimpleFundraise will automatically generate a Thank You email on your behalf.
- Minimum campaign total: $2,500 for free shipping. Smaller campaigns are available but may be subject to shipping charges, deducted from campaign profits.
